National Sports Day celebrated with gusto at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School

National Sports Day is celebrated every year on 29 August.This is the birth anniversary of Hockey wizard, Major Dhyan Chand.
Seth AnandramJaipuria School,Tarna, celebrated National Sport day with much fervor this year. On this occasion, games like Football, Kho-Kho, Ring Race, Three-Legged Race,and Balancing Race were organized on the school premises.
Inter-house football competition was played in three categories in which Godavari House in sub-junior, Ganga House in junior and Narmada House in senior category emerged victorious.
Anurag Shukla in sub-junior, Sion Dutta in junior and Yashveer in senior category was given the best player award.
In the inter-house Kho Kho(girls’ category), Krishna House emerged victorious and Suhani Yadav was given the best player award.
In this sequence, Ring Race, Three-Legged Race, Balancing Race etc. were organized for the children of primary category in which Ojas, Parth, Akarsh Pal, Samridhi Dubey, Lakshya, Aaryahi were given the first prize.
The main attraction of this sports festival was the football match between the teachers and the children’s team, in which the team of teachers taught football lessons to the children by defeating them 5–0. Teacher Neel Raghuvanshi was the man of the match, scoring two goals.
The prize distribution was done by the Director of the school, Shri Krishna Kant Pandey. Amit Shukla and Gaurangi Singh compered the program. Chairman, Shri Laxmikant Pandey, Director, Shri Krishna Kant Pandey, Director, Shri Shashikant Pandey, Principal, Shri Dharminder Menon, Head Operations,Vipin Pandey, Marketing Head, Abhishek Gupta, and Coordinator, Manish Srivastava, Shikha Singh and other teachers were present on the occasion.
